At Stump Grinder Company safety is our top concern. When removing a stump that has utilities in the area we are required to call 811 to have them located. Typically the process takes 48 hours to complete and protects both parties. In this job the electric (red paint) and internet cables (orange paint) ran through the stump. As a result, we will sometimes have to limit how deep we can grind. We will also hand dig on both sides of the stump to determine the depth of the utilities. It's a process that we are are willing to do to make sure the project is done correctly.
